Mediation

Mediation is a voluntary process in which opposing parties work with a neutral third party to come to an agreed resolution. Mediation can be a far more cost-effective and faster alternative to litigation. Parties have the opportunity to present their case to a neutral third party who will then attempt to bring both sides to a settlement agreement in order to prevent the cost of future litigation. Mediation is strongly recommended and, in some cases, required by the courts before proceeding to litigation.
